Robert Wilson: Moving Portraits

HWS worked closely with the Art Gallery of South Australia’s director Rhana Devenport ONZM and curatorial team to design an exhibition of video portraits by acclaimed theatre director and artist Robert Wilson.

The meticulously crafted portrayals of celebrities, artists, ordinary people and animals make reference to pivotal moments in art history, and are presented alongside a small selection of complementary works from the gallery’s collection which draw subtle, and often ambiguous, narrative threads through the exhibition.
